R410A is a high-pressure refrigerant blend for equipment specifically designed and labeled for R410A. Review these requirements before ordering.

Use R410A only in compatible air-conditioning and heat-pump equipment designed for its operating pressure.

  • Do not add R410A to an R22, R32, R454B, or other refrigerant system.
  • R410A operates at substantially higher pressure than R22.
  • A refrigerant change requires an approved retrofit procedure, not simple topping off.

R410A service requires equipment rated for the refrigerant's pressure range and should be performed by qualified HVAC personnel.

  • Do not use recovery cylinders or service tools that are not pressure-rated for R410A.
  • Wear appropriate eye and hand protection.
  • Recover refrigerant properly and never intentionally vent it.
